Long Island Natives had an aging ecommerce website that was no longer serving the needs of a rapidly growing but highly-specialized business. We were asked to rebuild the website in a new ecommerce platform to maximize visibility and conversions, while also helping represent the scale and scope of the commercial operation offered.
Our design focused heavily on showcasing the extensive and impressive project portfolio Long Island Natives has built over the years while taking care to facilitate easy access to online shopping for those customers interested in purchasing via that method.
Through the process, we helped export and migrate all existing product listings, scrub product and category data, worked with LI Natives staff to ensure data accuracy, and extended product listings to extend the website’s functionality for easier browsing and sorting by users.
The end result is a website that seamlessly services both a retail and commercial client-base, has improved search engine rankings, and continues to deliver increasing traffic and conversion rates.
